BRIEF

The brief was to do a logo and a branding exercise for an insurtech startup named BluePond. The USP of the brand was that even though it was a startup, the amount of funding and resources it had, made it much bigger than your average startup in the insurtech space. But at the same time, it was much more agile as compared to all the other slow-moving legacy brands. This gave BluePond an edge against both levels of competition.

INSIGHT

The insight for the logo came from the similarities found between an ice-berg and the world of insurance in general.

One only sees the tip of an iceberg, the majority of it is submerged under the water. Similarly, when it comes to insurance, one only sees the risks only visible above the surface of the water. BluePond helps to mitigate the unseen risks deep beneath the surface
